Communications
The Citizens Coalition at Great Waters is a voluntary, not-for-profit organization open to property owners of Reynolds Lake Oconee at Great Waters. Members of the Coalition share a common interest in the activities and actions of Putnam County government and the community at large, and in maintaining a vibrant environment within our Great Waters neighborhood.

Activities planned (refer to Communications Menu)
The Coalition has the following purposes:
To monitor and communicate constructively with county government and regulatory agencies.
To promote member and community awareness of local events and issues
using periodic email newsletters with committee reports. When appropriate,
the Coalition may publicly express our views on local issues we feel are critical.
To encourage voter registration and participation in local government.
To seek out quality candidates for local governmental positions and offer them encouragement and non-financial support. The Coalition will sponsor a “meet and greet” for local candidates as elections approach.
To identify community needs where our members could provide beneficial assistance, resources and support including some modest donations.
To host events which welcome new residents and promote social exchange between Coalition members to foster a sense of community at Great Waters.
